Vicki Roberts-Sanfelipo RN/EMT whose background as an experienced hospital nurse, worried her when fellow riders said
“oh you can look after us”
She also thought “who is going to look after me!!”
Vicki thought about this, and realised her hospital training and experience wasn’t enough for Motorcycle Trauma
She went and asked all the right questions regarding Motorcycle Trauma.
As a First Aid and CPR trainer she found that training wasn't sufficient for the special requirements of Motorcycle Trauma and managing an accident scene.
In her tenacious way she set about developing a course, which is now the benchmark of Motorcycle Trauma training in the USA, started in 1996, ASMI has trained over 20000students and now this course is available in Australia.
attended an Accident Scene Management Seminar at Americade
In 2010.
He was so impressed with the common sense and high level technical
aspects of the course he returned in October 2010 and attended ASMI training
In Association with Vicki Sanfelipo he created Accident Scene Management
Australia to bring these courses to Australia and become the resource centre
For Motorcycle First Responder Training.
ASMA as it is known, will coordinate the roll out of the courses around Australia
and be the support service for the instructors and ASMA has a close link with
The American ( world H.Q) of Accident Scene Management.
ASMA will conduct a number of fund raising events and spread its message
To all riders by them participating in fun activities.
